Salad at Smashburger in San Marcos

I wasn't very hungry, so I ordered a salad even though I love their burgers.
This was the menu description:

"SPINACH AND GOAT CHEESE
Spinach, goat cheese, raisins, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, cucumbers, tomatoes and onions topped with balsamic vinaigrette dressing."

This was the salad I got; no sign of the fruit or seeds.

But the server went back into the kitchen and argued with the salad makers and brought me a cup of the missing stuff.  Thanks to her, it was a good-great salad.

A mutant banana at our Fathers Day brunch. The rest of the bananas in the bunch were fine. This one had a woody texture.

Peach and blackberry and note the pi plate. Fruit is from the goral orchard, and pie is from the Goral kitchen. Fantastic. Thanks, Bill and Jan. I can think of no better way to end a bike ride.

For Dan's high school graduation. I had sushi, the rest had Teppan. At least as good as Benihana. Expensive.

Apple pie French toast at Denny's

We saw the commercial on TV and responded. Very good, but not as much crumble as in the ads.
