Most pizza places exaggerate the density their toppings in their pictures and skimp in reality. Certainly not the Pizza Factory in Bishop. The pepperoni pizza was equivalent. Both pizzas were delicious.

Pizza factory in Bishop, CA
Pizza Factory has stores in Lone Pine and Bishop on the drive to Mammoth. Apparently it's a franchise. I've eaten at the Lone Pine store but since that was after a full day hiking, anything would have been delicious. On our last drive to Mammoth, we stopped at the one in Bishop. I ordered a ham, pineapple, spinach, sun dried tomato pizza. This is the result:

Burgers Restaurant across from the village on Minaret road. Great food and attentive service. The owner was supervising the room and bussing tables. They grind their own meat daily.

Giovanni's near Von's. This looks a little worked over, but I forgot to take a picture before we dug in. It's what's left of a custom artichoke cheese pizza. We also ate most of a pepperoni. Highly recommended.
Garlic cheese bread is great also. The marinara is nicely chunky.

Empty packet
This packet was empty. The next one also. I must have opened thousands of such hot sauce, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise packets over half a century. This was a first.
