Mallory read a feature on this restaurant in AAA magazine. We made a special trip to eat there. What sold her, was a picture of their gnudi (basically gnocci). The gnudi was not quite like the picture and just okay, much like the rest of the meal. It was pretty cool to watch the guy prepare an cook our pizza in the Naples pizza oven right next to us. And he did wash his hands frequently. Overall, we'd give it a 6/10. We probably won't go back. Service was good. Coke refills were free, but they brought water to the table in a bottle, which reminded us of parched meals in Europe. Somehow, we Americans expect our beverages to flow freely at every meal.

Margarita pizza. Good. Nice crust. Nothing special. |
|
Duck. Odd taste. The corn and black rice was great. |
|
Butcher pizza. Three good meats, but topped with pickled onions which gave the whole thing an odd taste even when meticulously removed by Daniel. |

Cottage pie. A shepherds pie. But oddly they added some chunks to the ground meat, and they weren't great. I asked for ketchup, and the waitress was a bit snippy about that ("if you want to ruin it"). |
